Get more views on YouTube and Become a Social Media Superstar

If you are desperately trying to come up with new ways to get more views on YouTube then here are a few tips that will aid you in boosting your views. Contrary to what others may think or say, your title is the first main thing to focus on. The title is really what makes the viewer to click on your video. Your title should match the subject of your video making it more prone to keep the viewer interested. Try to think of a catchy title that will arouse the viewer’s curiosity to finding out what your video is all about. Be certain that you use correct punctuation in your titles. For instance, using capitalized words and exclamation points will be intriguing to your viewers. No matter what, even if it is just a silly video correct spelling and punctuation plays a big role.

Try doing a screenshot or thumbnail of your video for preview. A thumbnail may be more influential to your viewers to click on but make sure that it is relative to your title. No one likes to click on a thumbnail of a video thinking it one thing and the title says different. Make sure your thumbnail is attention grabbing. You are going to have an option to select one of three random screenshots. For instance, a thumbnail displaying a stop sign and a car passing by is not attention grabbing. However, a thumbnail of kid jumping over a moving vehicle will most likely get you more clicks. When something like this is viewed, it automatically arouses the curiosity because are a few questions that linger in the mind of the viewer such as, did the kid get hurt, how did it pull off the stunt or was this video real or fake?

Make sure that you use a lot of tags that relative to your content and that will attract results via searches. No matter how great of a video you have it want get any traffic without the proper keywords coming from search results. I cannot begin to say how crucial it really is to push your video content out there. Be careful to only use tags that are relative to your video content. For instance, if you have made a video about learning to play guitar, then your succession of keywords should not be “Hawaiian girls, guitar lessons and strings. It should read more like, become a guitar pro, learn to play guitar and maybe play guitar like a pro. Viewers will find your video easier this way.

Develop your own unique style of video. After you have made a few videos, you will start to take notice of which ones you are more satisfied with and which ones receive the most attention. Everyone should have his or her own unique style.

Did you know that you are most likely to earn many viewers by covering topics in the news? Let us face it; these are current hot topics that everyone wants to know about. The best thing about covering media stories is that they are already on Google’s search pages and all you would have to is cover the topic, (make the video), set your keywords for the appropriate content and it’s automatically picked up by Google. If you see a niche in this type of coverage then depending on your keyword usage, you can rake in many views. You can definitely and easily gain a wide audience making videos about current news topics.

Make sure you have a good quality camera. If you want to sabotage your presence on You tube really fast all you have to do is upload poor quality content. No one likes to watch fuzzy videos that can barely be seen. Many people have cameras on their phone and to save a few dollars they substitute their camera phones for the real deal. This is not a wise decision, videos are enjoyed the most when shot with an HD camera. The quality of the graphics is much more keen and realistic.

You do not need a long video; just about three to five minutes will do it. You certainly do not want to kill your viewers of boredom and you just want to shoot enough video to hold their interest just a few minutes. Just long enough to grab their attention span and just long enough for them to decide whether they like it or not. Unless you have something truly amazing and spectacular to hold their attention longer than three to five minutes, they will most likely navigate away from your video.

Try editing your video. Even if everything looks just fine coming straight from the camera, you should edit it anyway. Sometimes during filming sometimes, noises or other figures may be picked up in the background. Many video cameras often come with video editing software and there are also many free video editing programs that are eligible for download. During your editing process, it would not hurt to add a few different camera angles and headlines.

By all means, get involved with the subscribers and reply to all comments. Try to generate come feedback and discussions. Ask for opinions about your video. You have to become coordinated with your subscribers. This will direct right back to your view count.

You can also try using social media networks like MySpace or Facebook. Rely on drawing your Facebook and MySpace friends onto your Youtube subscribers list. Post your video links and your channel to book marking sites. Your subscribers will be able to track and you will maybe even gain more subscribers and vice versa. Use each site to synchronize to your videos.

Most sure you consistently and frequently post video. This gives your viewers an outlook of what to expect as a subscriber. Try doing at least one video per week and even be consistent on the day you post your videos. If you are just doing one video every 2 or 3 months, your subscribers are going to see this as a week number and inconsistent.
